Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple, located in Santharavuru or Kottapandillapalle (Pandillapalle) , Prakasam districtAndhra Pradesh is dedicated to the deity Ramalingeswara (the Hindu god Shiva). The temple dates back to the Chola period (12th century AD).

The temple administrators claim that the temple has a bell that reverberates 108 times when struck once, and that there are only two such bells the other being at Kashi.

 

Timings

Morning from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM and in the evening from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. 

 

Parking and Photography

 

No dedicated parking is available as of now and parking has to be done either in front of the temple


No restriction with photography. Drones should be tried from outside from a distance.

How to Reach

 

By Road: The nearest bus stand is around 5-10 KMs. The bridge at Santhuruvuru junction is closed, so first kuccha road is to be taken to reach till Thimmasamundram and then U-Turn through a bridge after around 2 KM to reach Ramalingeshwara Temple at Mangala Chevuru.

By Train: Nearest railway station is around 5-10 KMs

By Air: Nearest airport is Vijaywada around 122 KMs
