Amadpur rajbari cum homestay belongs to the Choudhury Zamindars and is also known as Durga Bari. It is known for Durga Puja. It is a vast expanse of property having mango gardens, small man made lakes heritage buildings and old temples. Going by their history, they have received their Zamindari directly from the Mughals. A part of their property is being commercially used for boarders.

Very near to the Rajbari is the Radha Gobindo temple, which is a beautifully carved Terracotta temple with much of it being renovated. We just touched upon Amadpur, but we felt like staying here for a longer time and feel the experience of belonging and the lovely peaceful environments around.  The small town of Amadpur has a lot to offer, many more hidden temples, beautiful small houses with ponds and beauty all around.
